Here I go....a new post because I have a few blog followers on board.
Valentines Day is tomorrow? Haven't bought a thing. If you know me, you know that this is my least favorite "holiday" of the year. Lots of people think it's wierd. Randy is disturbed by it, however I am usually forced to celebrate it each year. I do love my husband more than anything, I just don't see the point in telling someone how much you love them just because that is what's expected of you that 1 day. It is an excuse to get a much-needed tanning package though (don't get into the flower & candy thing). So...I guess on my lunch break I shall go find Randy and the girls a Valentine's Day gift.
Today Kaylee had her Valentine's Day party at school : ) It was a Teddy Bear/Dress-up party. The girls wore their favortie "dress-up" clothes. Kaylee's Gran (Matt's mom) bought her the cutest dress-up wedding dress with high heels (as she calls them). I bought all the girls in her class candy necklaces to wear also. The boys brought their dad's suit coats and dress pants for the party. Each child in the class also brought their favorite Teddy Bear. Kaylee took her Build-a-Bear she got from her 1st Christmas. I will post pictures if I can figure out how.
This morning I tried something new with Riley Rose......Each morning when I wake her up (6:40 a.m.), I take her straight to my room and lay her on my bed while she drinks her bottle of milk. This morning I tried putting her milk into her sippy cup (which she loves any other time). She wasn't having it!! She screamed until I put that milk in her bottle! This was all fine with me though. Randy has just been telling me for several months that she needs to get off of that bottle and I say "No. It's the only thing that she does that is still baby-like!". So now, she can have her bottle if she wants it!!
